A broken white line separates traffic traveling in opposite directions. Drivers should stay to the right of it but can cross it to overtake if the road ahead is clear and it is safe.

A continuous white line also divides traffic going opposite ways, and you should stay to its right. Additionally, parking is prohibited on either side. You can only cross it if the road ahead is clear and it is safe to do so.

These lines indicate that crossing is prohibited in both directions. You should not cross them to overtake, make a turn, or park. They are used where overtaking visibility is restricted or where crossing would be dangerous.

This arrow indicates that the lane you are in is exclusively for vehicles going straight. You should not turn left or right from this lane.

This arrow indicates that the lane you are in is exclusively for vehicles turning left. You should not go straight or turn right from this lane.

This arrow indicates that the lane you are in is exclusively for vehicles turning right. You should not go straight or turn left from this lane.

This marking indicates that the lane you are in allows you to choose between going straight or turning left.

This marking indicates that the lane you are in allows you to choose between going straight or turning right.

This marking indicates that the lane you are in is for vehicles intending to turn either left or right. You should not proceed straight from this lane.

This marking indicates that the lane you are in allows you to choose any of these three directions.
